Parent coaching
Raising healthy, happy and smart children, that will one day turn into well-rounded, compassionate and successful individuals, is the most important goal of most parents. But it can be a challenging one to achieve: navigating all of the developmental challenges that our children undergo from the day of their conception in a fast-paced, ever changing society can be a daunting task. Whether you are an expecting couple, or seasoned parents of a school-aged child, with our Nutrition & Health focused approach, we are here to help you get on, and stay on the right track, leaving no doubts in your mind that you are doing absolutely the best you can for your little (and not so little) ones.
-
Your child’s journey begins in the mother’s womb. The choices the parents make during the pregnancy and in their child’s first few years of life have profound and lasting effects on its eventual quality. Most neurodevelopmental disorders begin to develop at this stage of a child’s life and therefore it is extremely important to understand the significance of a healthy diet, lifestyle choices and correct parenting styles.
-
Oftentimes, becoming a new parent can be a scary thought. Self-doubt, inexperience, confusing and sometimes contradictory advice can leave new parents overwhelmed and unsure. Mind.Set will help guide and educate you along your way to becoming a parent, and during your first steps as a new parent, leaving you fully equipped to raise physically and mentally strong children.
For Newbies

As your child’s brain and body continue to undergo complex and extraordinary changes on their way to teenagehood, they also continue to be extremely vulnerable to both internal and external factors that can disrupt their healthy development. Although these factors remain generally the same (diet, lifestyle, parenting style, relationships, etc.) a different approach is required to address the unique challenges of this age group.
-
Here at Mind.Set, we follow and honor your child’s neurodevelopmental timeline and adjust our support to work with you, the parent, your resources and your determination to meet your child’s unique needs. We help you understand their behaviour, show you how to intervene in a healthy and nurturing manner and join you in achieving your goal of raising happy and healthy individuals.
For Parents of Pre & Schoolers
-
Teen age presents its unique challenges. Teenagers undergo different kinds of changes: whilst their brain has still a long way to go, their body experiences such abrupt and aggressive changes that often leave parents wondering if someone swapped their sweet little angel for this growly, moody, highly flammable individual overnight. Most parents claim this period to be the most challenging one. It tests parents’ patience, leaves them questioning their parental capabilities and often even their own sanity. The family dynamics tend to shift and if mishandled, it is often not in the right direction. Navigating through this period can be extremely taxing on both teenager’s and parents’ mental wellbeing.
-
With our unique approach, we will:
Help you understand your child’s behaviour, its origins and internal and external triggers;
Provide you with knowledge and the tools to help you ensure your growing teenager receives a balanced diet, that works with their hormones rather than against them, thus exasperating the related behavioral and developmental challenges;
Provide you with the effective parenting strategies to help you empower your teenager (and you!) with healthy copying techniques;
